ok i see, so does the docking port for the smaller ship have to be in a specific place for this to work?

the docking port must be present on both ships... maybe the others you were trying with don't have docking ports...

however, simply pressing shift+F2 while a ship is selected opens the options menu on the left of the screen for adding docking ports.

I don't remember if I've done this for all X-series ships, likely not...

*skylone my bad, the docking hud only shows up when im piloting the skylone but I still can't seem to dock it. In the screenshots it looks like you have a ship docked so is there something im missing?

docking port only seems to work for the cyclone is this intentional or a bug?
