It is happening in 1.9.1 now as well, good this fix! the drop is now 120→110 instead of →90

, instead of retrieving each individual vassal's opinion, it categorizes the opinions into neutral and more extreme ones and assigns fixed values or rounded down opinion values accordingly.
Why is the original a complex calculation anyway? I fail to understand.

All the fix does is remove all the opinion modifiers when vassalizing, so the lag is caused by modifiers ?? This should simply be fixed by Paradox because taking out the modifiers is just plain and simple cheating now.

This is incredible, it really fixes the stutter, which I had forever. It's too bad it doesn't work for achievement, but man, good job. Please let the devs know the problem, maybe they fix it.

The Renegade - yes, I experienced stuttering in both 1.7.0 and 1.7.1 until I added the character_interactions tweak.

This REALLY works! I thought I just had some out-of-date mods (I have a LOT of them loaded) but this one mod makes the game run buttery smooth again!
