(cont’d) To make up for the extra challenge added by Spindown Dice, this mod gives you the perfect foil: Lost Contact. This item increases Samael’s defensive capability to immeasurable levels. I cannot describe the amount of times when I have been fighting Mega Satan and, due to my very low skill level, have found myself confronted by an onslaught of projectiles. With this mod, I can easily use Lost Contact’s mechanics to break through the bullets with ease and cop that dub.

I’ve always felt that Samael was missing something. Sure, the melee attack was cool, and the ending was well put together, but something’s always felt… off about him. Samael runs, in the end, always boiled down to just another Isaac run, always ending on average damage, average tears, nothing special. This mod has shown me something that I have searched for my entire life. Spindown Dice adds an extra spice to my runs that keeps me waling up every morning knowing that I will spend 3 hours later that day minimizing and maximizing my item outputs and abusing blood donation machines. This item increases the difficulty of the run by making you carefully consider your charges to get the max amount of Brimstones possible from donation machines so I can post it on my 73 subscriber YouTube channel with a clickbait title and afford that day’s dinner (purchased from Burger King, of course.)
