There are way, WAY too many backstories that disable worktypes, and for completely nonsensical/arbitrary reasons based on what it is. makes this mod borderline unusable with how many gimped pawns it spawns.

I love having colonists that literally cannot do almost any job ever because they worked a specific job once

Got serious lag with this mod. I added and removed it by itself multiple times at different stages of a playthrough, still couldn't get above 40TPS.

The blurbs are fun and well-written though, so I'd be happy to resubscribe, assuming we get a performance update

Minor typo- Adult Chemfuel farmer backstory's 2nd to last word is always "him," regardless of gender

Minor typo - the childhood backstory "living cure" last sentence uses a possessive pronoun when it should not.

From the description saying "uneasy around strangers to this day" it seems like the Adult backstory "Translator" should give -2 social instead of the +2 social it has currently.

Perhaps he was speaking from experience? lol

Since we already have a discussion thread ("Backstory Typos Roundup") pointing out many of the typos in this mod, can we expect those to be fixed? If not, what else could the users do to help expedite this process?

No, it would be way beyond the character limit.

Would it be possible for you to sort the full list on the mod page here, and separate the child and adult backstories into separate paragraphs? I'm using Prepare Carefully to add my friends into my game, which means sending them links to mod pages so they can see all their character options.

Someone seems to have already done that, actually, in the discussion "Backstory Typos Roundup". The bottom one contains a link, apparently they set it up as a patch and everything. Maybe that will help?

As per the mod description, these are backstories submitted by the community. I am not a native speaker, so unless someone goes over them and fixes them up, I would not expect the update anytime soon. It's not as high priority as other planned updates to other mods.

Let's just say I look forward to when it's updated and these are fixed, I want my 'tuner punk' pawns back XD

My goodness! I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden most of the backstories I run into are riddled with typos, bad grammar, and misgendering. I can try to write down a list of the ones I encounter that are like this, but I fear I'll spend more time doing that than playing the game. This is definitely not the quality I've come to expect from Vanilla Expanded mods.

I think you just didn't let it download the update :) There is no way to 'not set the tag properly'.

Is it just me though or is the 1.4 tag not set properly? My game still says that the mod isn't 1.4 compatible.
