Right now I can load the full "set" of deer24 cathay mods with no issue. Including skipping turns.
Test without Deer24 "no officer" reskin mod if you use it, it gave me trouble lately for some reason. Also, Deer24 updates the mod so often and steam struggle to keep mods updated in general that you may have an outdated bugged mod version. (unsub/resub, or verify integrity of games files)
Also, this is an Immortal Empire (+expanded) mod only. No Old World or Realm of Chaos.
And in general, the mod always had some crashing issue and he's been trying to fix them for years. I suggest using the 2 camera mods I mention in this mod's description. Most of the crash I get are from fast camera movement in the campaign and these mods reduce them.
Not sure how you could get 2 overlapping modded lord. Only the faction submod set them on the map and I know no alt version of it. So probably a conflict or script overload, something.
About SFO, was it SFO specifically, or a SFO submod for Walk with the Dragon? I know that both mods add a LOT of script, might be too much for the game perhaps.

It remove all story events and 99% of the scripts, keeping only the event to recruit defeated rebels lords and a set-up event about heroes. Should be easier on the scripting, if you do not care about the mod's storyline.
There has been a bunch of similar report in chinese on the main mod page. Might be some issue with the main mod right now. Tho I just tested it right now (tho with a minimal mod list and used the console to get a ton of XP) and was able to get his weapon and it auto-equiped it. Perhaps it has been fixed but you are stuck on an older version of the mod.
Unsub/resub to the main mod to force an update, or use the "Verify integrity of game files" option in steam to force update your whole mod folder?
other southern provinces lord also not able to move on turn 1, also there are bug for yuan bo faction like i can't recruit more lord and merchant on turn 1
I assume you have deer24's faction mod too? Is it only Duan Wei, like, can you move the other Southern provinces lord on turn 1 (Qin Yuanyi)?
With only Walk with the Dragon base mod (no sfo stuff), its faction mod submod reskin (alongside all prerequisite), I can move everyone.
Since Duan Wei exist on turn 1, it should be easy to test stuff. Like disable everything everything SFO, test again. Cannot move? Re-enable SFO stuff and disable some non-deer24 cathay submod. Until you can move him.
Anyone know which mod causes this or how to fix the conflict?
Or an incompatibility. I had an issue where some heroes looked like savage orc warboss when using the Shenzoo mod. I assume some mods make their own hero category for Cathay instead of adding them or using Mixu's, or something. I don't know. With my current set-up, I just tested and have no issue (didn't enable the shenzoo mod)
I'd suggest disable some hero mods one by one until you find the culprid. You could try to move all of the Walk with the Dragon mod higher, but I am not sure it'll fix things. In general, for Total War Warhammer modding, you want to keep the default load order unless there's an issue.
Doubt the translation could crash you.Everything runs fine for me, make sure you have the latest and all requirements of all mods involved. (unsub/resub)
The new lord is also translated, only need for Shock to have some free time to upload it.
No~yes. Miao Ying has access to the new lord on turn 1, but ONLY if she's the player. Otherwise, if the player is another faction, the lord will be the one you use during the Terracotta Graveyard battle (that Miao Ying cannot do).
Since that battle is not in the unit only mod, I made the lord is always available to Miao Ying instead.

I updated it today but it seems that it got stuck somewhere along the path and won't leave "verification". Will try to upload it again.
You mean only faction+english mods, without the main mod? Yeah, that'll crash. The faction mod doesn't actually have units, heroes or lords in it. It has factions set-up stuff, landmark and some specific events. But it pulls the lords and heroes from the main mod.
I made a patch to remove events, but I don't think there's a version without units. I am not interested in making that one.
I'm just a translator/patcher. You would need to ask deer24, but he's on break at the moment.

Now I'd need to test it for 60 turns at least to make sure nothing pop up, but I lack the time. Maybe in the coming days.
There is no version with only the units, the script light version has fewer events tho.

I'll -try- to make an unit only patch, there's so much piece in there that I might hit a wall somewhere as I don't know how he coded his stuff. But it'll have duplicates lords/heroes when used with the faction submod since they'll all be added to the 3 vanilla faction.
i just want to play the game normally with new units and lords, i don't want to play the "Story mode" or whatever of this mod
is this in the settings somewhere to turn this off?
I'll take the compliment, but I am only the translator lol. Do throw your praise at the chinese mod so the actual author can see it, he can read english.
From these mods I guess that the SFO patch is old or outdated? Can you try disabling all of the SFO mod and submods and try to launch again? Also, I see that there's several older SFO patch, maybe one of these is more updated than others?
Because I can launch a campaign with all of Mixu's mods, walk with the dragon+faction+english+reskin, and the Roar of the Jade sea mod you mentioned in the other mod comment.
Checked, and the result is that the "Terracotta Sentinel" category only apply to Terracotta Sentinel and all of his mods Big Single Entity while the Terracotta Automatons are classified as infantry. So it doesn't even include the 2 vanilla lions. The Summon the Sculptor item gives a vanilla buff that only affect the Terracotta Sentinel category. He should have made his own buff using his custom category which includes all of the constructs and only them.
The buff description also specify "terracotta soldiers" not "automatons". But yeah, confusing, I'll fix that by replacing soldiers with sentinels since its only them.
The automatons are properly affected by buff calling "Terracotta Constructs" like the skill Sculpting Eyes on Statues, and they are affected by the "melee infantry" buffs. So things are fine on that side.
And to specify, the Yi Cha Jungle Fighters are from the Yin Yin mod, not Walk with the Dragon. I'll take a look at the Terracota Automaton, might also be a mistranslation of the ability.
For example, Saytang buffs ALL constructs except that anti infantry Terracota Automatons.
"Summon the Sculptors" of Qiao Xiao says +30 armor for all Terracota Automatons, but ignores the unit which is named Terracota Automatons. Very weird, it looks like it was some new unit that was just forgotten at some point.
I assume you forgot the faction submod xD .
But yes, if you use the Yin Yin mod it'll steal Zhao Qi's faction, but you can still recruit her. The Marienburg mod take a unrelated settlement unless that changed recently.
