Hello there, will probably try the mod for my next Oxyotl campaign.

One pet peeve I have was about the ambush armies from the Sanctum building that were full of non-ambushy Sauruses.

Would you perhaps consider adding to the scope of the mod that the Ambush armies would use more thematic armies: chameleons skinks and chameleon stalkers on top of the skink Skirmishers, perhaps Terradon Riders, razordons or salamanders as well, and that the leading hero would be an Oracle instead of a Scar vet?

This would increase the thematic experience of the campaign in my opinion.

The hard armies leave u alone. Just wait till u have enough units to fight them, it took me like 15 turns for the first one? Had around 1.8 armies. I could've done it earlier since the AI armies, while expensive, don't get nearly as many stacking buffs. Or reload the save.

Appreciate the insight, but if you're trying to tweak the difficulty by reducing bad RNG... It's only turn 14 in my campaign and an entire army composed of- I kid you not- 11 Keepers of Secrets, 8 Soul Grinders, and 1 scrubby daemonette appeared right on my front doorstep... It didn't go well.

As a side note, Visions are assigned on Turn Start, so unless you're on Legendary/Iron-Man Mode. You can save at the end of turn 2/3, and then basically re-roll until you're happy with the Visions you've received - rather than losing the whole campaign progress.

I've made some difficulty tweaks and pushed small patch that should make the first 10-20 turns more manageable and less prone to unlucky RNG. I also slightly nerfed enemy count on normal in early turns, but when Hard missions do turn up they'll still be hard.

hey man, an army spawning on my doorstep to raid my territory on turn 3 would be fine as a vision if the army it spawned with didnt have at least one bloodthrister and 2 soul reapers while ive had two turns to recruit skinks only. i know this is supposed to be hard, but like. this is mathematically not possible LOL

I've tested it with new games and tends to run as expected. I've not not much testing recently on trying to start the mechanic mid-save on an older campaign, it could work but also could have more issues as the original CA script this is using is designed to manage new campaigns.

To @Bleinz point there can be kind or harsh RNG in terms of whether early missions spawn hard or easier challenges. I've kept it fairly random, you can basically do a re-roll on the first turn to find something more amenable.

I have 2 raiding armies in my starting region (as Oxyotl) that were spawned by Hard level missions very early game. How do you deal with that? It's a bit annoying xD

Does not work well. Some of quets doesn't count even when I complete them (for example, defeat enemy army or set up an ambush, when I did them, they still seem like an active quests). And it's very annoying. When u get negative consequences, but u already defeted that army, or destroyed that city. Game just doesn't count it

I knew this would make things a bit harder, but this is a bit much, no? For context, it's turn three, I just destroyed the initial enemy faction, and this is the army that spawned2 inches from Mount Athull (last settlement in the starting province). I feel like the first army at your doorstep should be reeled in somewhat LOL
