Dude, I love you! Thank you so much for this! Working perfect on 1.55. As someone said, this is game changer! I love this game and I used to play with a G29 but I don't have it anymore, now I play with a controller (a generic one) and this made a huge difference. I can't thank you enough.

what would i put the ingame settings at when using an xbox controller ? Steering Sensitivity and steering non linearity ?

Thank you so much. If it weren't for this mod I wouldn't be playing on a gamepad at all. I don't know what the people asking you to update it are talking about. It works fine on the current game version.

actually i was looking for the exact opposite hmmm

this mod is a game changer. Highly recommend this mod if you often play on controller or just keyboard. Steering on both inputs always felt snappy especially keyboard but with this mod it makes it feel like what it should felt like, its much smoother. I haven't tried this mod on a controller though but playing on keyboard i can definitely tell i drive way better with it.

Don't know why SCS didn't fix it though. They absolutely should.

Although I think ETS2 is an excellent game I was disappointed in the steering control. This mod was easily a game changer for me. Thanks for creating this and sharing.

This mod is a dream come true, on the highway i put the steering lower then docking, now i have it somewhat in the middle, and it is PERFECT ! ( steering from keyboard )

@Omen, no, this is not for mouse steering. Controller steering uses the auto-centering force.

Could this also work well with mouse steering? I have realistic truck physics mods on, what should I expect?

@PeDrum – This is possible. I did not notice issues with the ones I used, by I can very well imagine an overlap in the settings I adjust and other mods rely on.

An excellent mod, allows you to play with the keyboard. Unfortunately it seems to conflict with other physics mods.

@mpie I do, but all mods have room for improvement. For this mod its only minor tweaks, in my opinion.

My biggest concern is what I found with other steering mods as well, is that keyboard steering mods seems to conflict with in game truck physics (maybe coding).

@Conny McFarley – Tastatur ist eine ganz andere Arbeitsweise als Controller-Stick. Beim Stick habe ich ein relatives Maß, wie weit ich ihn bewege. Mit der Tastatur gibt es nur gedrückt oder nicht gedrückt. Deshalb kann ich diesen Mod nicht parallel dafür optimieren. Aber was trotzdem greifen sollte, ist die geringere Sensibilität bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten.

I don't know if it's just me, or how long its been. I have only noticed now that my truck is wiggling when standing still. I thought its a realism thing because of the big engine, but it actually is wiggling even with the engine off.

@Horace H Helmsley – Steeper curve: Have you tried a lower steering sensitivity in your settings?
The way the mod is made, that is it ensures a minimum of steering input at higher speeds, this should already make you steering wheel turn slower at slow speeds.

The best mod that turns an arcade driving game into a simulation . The mod to install first .
Be careful, asking for a time to adapt to the new behavior is necessary.
