In case you decide to revisit these, my recommendation is to use SOG Prairie Fire's built-in helicopter transit system. The mission maker has to enable it. The player simply flips their call-in radio (Where you select where to drop bombs & artillery) over to "Transportation". Pick an option, and select a pick up and drop off location. It then spawns a helicopter in to pick you up from point A, and take you to point B.
