if you need any help with modding in general i recommend going into the extended workshop server discord.gg/n7HmAcZ (if you got discord), since it'd be a lot easier to help there than a steam comment section lol

you should use the manual, it has most of the information you need

as for paint, you shouldn't use paint for this cuz paint doesn't have transparency options, so any other program would probably be better for it, i personally recommend libresprite/aseprite since it's the most comfortable to use

yes, it's a template that's free for use, the non empty version has a lot of things it can teach on how to code certain common mechanics on workshop so you can cross reference it

don't forget that it's part of a switch statement, so you might need to do a few things differently if you don't have one set up

if you need help in general i do recommend going to the extended workshop server on discord (i'm there too, it would make this a lot easier than to turn tester's comment section into a troubleshooting chat lol)
