i think it just hit me why the textures bug out when dying: it's because you're probably using rng materials like the semi canon citizen mod, which in turn causes the textures to re-randomize or default to their first frame when the rebel's ragdoll gets spawned

also i know this might be mildly annoying but could you please alter the npc models's hand rigs so the bottom three fingers use the middle finger bone? hl2 npcs dont have animations for seperate pinky/ring fingers and they kinda stick out as a result

Odd. I don't recall the Enhanced Citizens Replacer having issues with refugee textures. Maybe there's something up with the textures themselves, maybe some layout issue between the living models and the ragdolls?
