Not sure how someone not noticed this for over two years now, but you can cheese the trapdoor with Holy Mantle and similar effects

Thanks so much for this. I nearly lost out on an amazing run for my last Azazel checkmark. This will really help until I remember not to take the trap doors after doing more alt-path.

or you could simply use the rewind command (or dont forget)

by "no locked alt paths" i thought the mod would make it so you didnt have to use keys/bombs/health to open alt path doors
still a skill issue mod none the less
