Oh yeah, absolutely. I think that would be really cool. Glad to hear these miners are getting a lot of usage too. Maybe you could post a screenshot later if you have time, would love to see how it looks.
I doublechecked to make sure and they are connected. If you built it through a projector you may have missed a conveyor somewhere. Also, they are set to not show in inventory to make it less cluttered so try turning that back on.
I'm not a big fan of large grid miners as the design options are very limited. The drills dig in such a small radius that a wall of drills is really the most simple and effective design one can make without resorting to using moving parts with rotors, pistons or hinges. But I might give it a try at some point.
