So Knights have unit caps here, which is cool, but it also makes it so that you can't Allied Recruit them when you're NOT playing as Bretonnia. Can anything be done about that?

You can tweak it with pack file manager, the modding tool for Warhammer, otherwise just play king louen as he gets more royal cap.

A friend of mine want's to do some modding and I'm thinking of asking for that?
I don't plan to make changes like that I'm afraid. This mod is basically complete until CA updates Bretonnia.
It hasn't been asked already. I am not sure, is this for allied bretonnian cavalry or just for other factions in general?
Allied recruitment is something I havent looked into that much
All I can say is another mod must be the culprit, and it just so happened that this mod caused issues with that other mod like some kind of chain reaction. I can't help you as I do not know your entire mod list, I am sorry.
