It conflicts with TFA sprint and holster animations, making them lag or not appear altogether.
Is there a way to fix this?

Yes, if the multiplayer server has the ConVar "sv_allowcslua" set to "1", you may type "lua_openscript_cl csgo_custom_viewmodels.lua" into the console.

the workshop file contains the addon
the github link is the source code available for viewing, to create transparency, so you can know what you are downloading.
