so... to help my figure out how to make turrets but also for gits and shiggles i decided to make some new turrets to throw on this thing... its beautiful (plasma is scary btw)

Managed to build this in campaign and holy fuck it's expensive to even just move but it just chews up and spits out anything it sees

I did some calculations, and turns out that it takes a little less than 2 minutes for the Northedge to devour a Marauder. And I don't mean killing it. I mean shoving it in a boiler and burning it for power.

Wow, this boat is tanky af. I threw a few ICBMS at it and it didnt care.

I made a thrustercraft(octuple 100mm kinetic aps) that can beat every campaign craft and it costs 999.999. It did loss 3 win 0 times against this boat.

My new Thrustercraft(sextuple 461mm HESH) 700.000 materials did fare better but thats only because the crams struggle to hit it... it was 1 win for me and 2 losses for me.

I am already building a battleship and I think I will use your craft as a measure of it's strength, try to beat it.

I know I'm a bit late to this discussion but both my ships "Brimstone Rain V1" and "Asymmetry Rev10" (built around May 2022) can fairly easily beat this "NorthEdge". As long as the spawn distance is 1500-2000+ at 90deg from eachother (broadsiding left) and they dont accidentally ram terrain or during a broadside switch then its usually an 80%+ victory.

The scary part of your ship is the 1-2 volleys at the start of the match when the steam engines have not spooled and the ships are slow. After this the volleys start staggering and the ships fall into a pattern of slowly circling until the Northedge dies.

If spawned at like 1000m or noses facing eachother then the proximity of the spawn distance and initial forward movement makes the crams obviously much more deadly and also not uncommon to end up in a ram. Spawning at as close a distance as this is not really realistic of the vehicle sizes however. I believe that around a 2000m spawn distance is more fitting to this cost bracket.

Id say the Medal is not eligable now as its pritty old now and it looks pritty popo, but you can still have fun beating up the Northedge

Are you including fights against thrustercrafts that have erratic flight patterns? They kinda hard counter cram

Not that I wan't you to be in agony, this is my fanbuild to Kevin's Red Nation so, these may have been aswell required for it

Turrets are very decorated and very small, so I was able to do that kind of turret placements. As for the superstructure, think It as I had somewhat tried to copy the main bridge for the reina battleship, but for the lower parts, I had kevin help me with the decoration for the superstructure, but the base of the superstructure was done so the top layer of the back top turret would also be on the same layer as the door in the back of the superstructure

This is quite possibly the best weapon placements I've ever seen, how do you do the superstructure that well?

Thank you!, but its not me who had done that, but I told to Kevin do it because I had no knowledge of the bibleverses apart from stuff in school, Kevin Did the holy texts and some refining on the supersucture, front and back of the ship which made it look better, but he also did give me a guide or atleast some references on how to make these ships, the rests are on my own doing e.g. turrets/shiphull/Ai/mechanics/armour component layout

Geez, that's a lot of holy texts i'm seeing..., Nice work btw!
