gmod's version of source has a much higher entity limit, you probably got the no free edicts crash error which means the entity limit has gone over, I dont know if there is a way around that though.

In HL2 Deathmatch I am trying to make a map similar to this. However, whenever I have more than around 200 func_breakables in my level it crashes or reverts to an older version. How did you do this? plz let me know

one thing that i found out that may cause lag, is if you use your flashlight. since the flashlight casts shadows on every single cube, it uses a lot of resources and will cause lag. so just dont use your flashlight in this map.

rigy because the source engine isn't meant to do this kind of things and older/less powerful devices may struggle due to the amount of cubes being rendered.

Really nice map, but the spawning system can get a bit annoying at times (e.g digging down really fast). Maybe a version of the map with all the blocks there already would be nice? Or if that would just crash Gmod instantly, then maybe a version with a more generous spawning system would be good too.

I've messed with something similar to this before, never thought of doing it in chunks like this. It was fun figuring out how it works. I think I have it correct: When all of the blocks closer to the train brushes are broken, a parented group of func_breakables are all spawn in using a template, then it's basically rinse and repeat.

I have done both I broke all the blocks that are avaliable and I disabled every single addon this happens on other maps too I wonder why certain functions don't work on certain maps.

you have to break around 100 blocks for the next layer to be unlocked, its to prevent to many blocks from being spawned at once to prevent lag
