I noticed after "waves intensify year" the number of ships in each fleet doubles every 5 years. This causes issues pretty quickly with raw ship numbers. Maybe the ships could just have more HP after a certain point instead?

Regardless of my empire my economy started off negative and the necrophage would destroy me before I can even support building fleets, wouldn't recommend playing unless you want torment from year 1.

hey btw, could you start voidborn hives with a sentinel post? Also, the game doesn't populate the two habitats you spawn with.

You need to click the reset button. Seems that if you changed your settings for the game in the new game menu, it ignores the mod.

Is this mod broken? Nothing spawns. I had the starting wave set as early as I could but 100 years in and nothing has spawned :(

i luv this mode but like i cant get it to work no matter what - even by itself after two file verifications the lost never spawn im on a 400 galaxy and i genuinely dont know what could possibly be causing this

Try resetting the Game Details settings to default if it is launching without the mod for you. I had the same issue and it may only have been my map size was not updating to the Survival 400 one.

If it still does not work, I also had a warning that the mod version may not match, if the above does not help it looks like in descriptor.mod it needs supported_version="v4.0.*" rather than supported_version="4.0.*" From the Launcher go to Mods and click the ... by this mod and select go to folder, then open descriptor.mod in a text editor, add the missing v, save, and it should get picked up right away.

Good day. I wanted to clarify about the fact that it is possible to play alone? I have launched the game a couple of times with and without bots, but the mod does not work.

@phoenix Maybe? This mod has minimal overwrites, so it will (probably) work just fine

This mod forces the guaranteed habitable slider to have a minimum of 2, but some origins have habitability issues with the random guaranteed planets, can the minimum be returned to 0?

Ello, really enjoy the mod, even with having currently to downgrade. was doing some testing with difffrent stuff in the mod since a lot has chanced over the year.

It seems the voidweller origin is a wee bit broken (in a bad way) becuse you dont start with an advanced start, having one habitat with 34 pops.

anyhow, i hope that the mod will be updated in the furture its one of the most unique mods on the workshop.

@Evan I am having the same issue at first I thought it was my other mods but even after turning them off and doing all the normal fixes the menu is still broke

I've been having some trouble in the main menu (this is only mod) where clicking on buttons and the hotkeys don't do anything. I can click on the socials buttons but otherwise not do anything. It seems to work normally without the mod. Setting to windowed mode and all the usual tricks don't seem to work, has anyone else had this issue?

Otherwise I have always enjoyed this mod, it is great fun and a good challenge.

I've killed off all the Necroids but their generators in the galactic center. Which seem to be un-killable. I found a way to do it, but won't let the secret out. It took 5 tries and all the AI's failed as either cannon fodder or helpful allies. The best they would do is fill my colonies up with refugees. LOL Also, I seem to have touched off the Breach of Galactic Law = Military Readiness Act.... LOL

Thank you. Pretty fun twist. I like it. One question, though: Is it intended to not be able to construct gateways?
I did a couple of runs and I was really looking forward to the gateways tech so I can reinforce my pressured chokepoints quickly or run to my ally's aid.

However I never get the tech. Looking at the wiki, it says an abandoned gateway must be discovered so the tech can appear, but all of the gateways belong to the Lost and perhaps are not considered "abandoned". Maybe that is why we can't get the tech.

The AIs also never construct gateways, but construct other megastructures, so I must assume they simply cannot construct gateways.
