The difference in this case compared to other all-class attempts primarily comes down to the cosmetic's implication. A lot of all-class cosmetics don't work because they imply out-of-character fashion/behaviour choices from a few of the mercs.
Surviving an attempted execution is perfectly in-character for every merc, so it works. Honestly, kudos for creating such a clever and fitting cosmetic. This'd fit even back in the Dustbowl days.
Someone decides to make something only for one class: Bruh, why isn't this all-class? Missed opportunity...
(The texture could stand to be higher quality, though.)
