i need your help.. your variants are over-writing DEER24's Cathay's lords and heroes.

Great mod. But it breaks the existing save. I've been playing with this mod since the beginning of the campaign. Up until now, saves were loading fine, but now I can't load my save. So I have to disable this mod...

Caused me to ctd on turn 4 during end turn timer. Sadge

i know this literally doesnt need to be updated to work (good job on that) but could you do it anyway in such a way that it stops changing the model of the characters from walk with the dragon. this is basically a joke commment where im whining bc imm Like That. i hope u have a good day or night or whatever time it is there! also i love these variants so much and would rather break the models of another mod than turn these off, just so its said

@sarumanthecursed I believe Snek is integrating this into his variants mod. Might want to ask him.

It is really compatible with any mod that doesn't use the same tables. That said Snek is working on taking this into his mods so keep an eye on the extra variants mod as well.

Hey @Snek just wanted to let you know that I have touched base with Fresh Prince and he said to go for it. I personally look forward to seeing Cathay come over to your mod. Maybe you could add the Celestial Generals that were never added here.

I will have to touch base with Fresh Prince but I would love it if you pulled it into your mod. Fresh Prince is on other projects, and I have no clue how to do more than make it not crash the game.

Also i don't want to speak for anyone, but I only came in and fixed a couple tables and added compatibility to the Variant Selector mod, and Fresh Prince has mostly moved on from this project. Suffice it to say that unless myself or our friend @☬The Maharajah of Punjab☬ release a completely separate mod there isn't going to be a ton of movement on this mod. If it works that's great but if it doesn't, that might not change. Sorry!

Thanks for reaching out sigmars_disciple I have updated the title, I am currently looking into the issues people have reported.

Unfortunately I am having trouble replicating the issues that people are bringing to our attention. I tried this mod with only the variant selector mod turned on. I looked at each model and am not having the issue where the wrong one populates or any crashes. There could be a compatibility issue at play or it could be a different mod causing the problems all together. If people could link their mod builds I would be happy to investigate further. I will be placing this in the description as well.

Hey YingYang, could you maybe update the title of the mod and write a comment re: 5.1 readyness of this mod? It's been a long time and unfortunately, neither the title saying it's up to date for 4.0 nor (whether these 'reports' are true or not) the most recent comments don't inspire much confidence to activate this, as much as I'd like to.... <3

Recruiting a lord while having this mod enabled is crashing my game. Not sure why, but wanted to report in case it helps.

Why is it that in my game, some female hero models are mistakenly replaced with male ones. I sorted it very late

with this mod enabled the game doesnt start :(

@Maharajah I don't see any problems with what you are asking for. But as far as adding anything to the collection only Fresh Prince can actually combine the files. You may want to reach out to him on Discord.
@Candyman When you sat this mod is crashing your saves, do you mean that it is crashing after being added or it is crashing after starting a new save with this mod and then trying to reload it? I will be honest I haven't played with this mod since the latest patch so, while I don't know exactly what could be causing the issue, I haven't had time to see the issue first hand.

Sadly this does seem to crash my existing save too yeah.
Not saying its for sure this mods fault but i also cant find think of any conflict in my list since variants are usually pretty compatible with most stuff right?
At least they dont ctd if there are issues in my experience.

@YingYangTW and @Fresh Prince of SolIaire have two questions one could I make a update to more shuguan lords prudish that covers there chests and two could I be allowed to make a contribution to the collection by making more variaits for the celestial general and gate guard?

I am unsure what you are talking about as far as Fresh Prince of Solaire goes but I will run some tests to make sure this is working with 5.03. No promises that I can fix anything if there is an issue however as FPS and I haven't spoken lately.

Not sure why it would crash an existing save. It should only be adding variants but I will take a look at the tables to be sure.

I can confirm that it crashes existing saves for some reason, but otherwise functions fine. Also the save I'm trying to load isn't a Cathay save, in case that's relevant at all. :)

Hey guys sorry that we have been absent from this mod. Both Fresh Prince and I have been busy with other things. As far as I know this one should be working pretty well without us interfering. The only time that it had a serious issue was when the Champions of Chaos dropped and changed culture groups around. That said any issues that you all spot please let us know. I haven't played a Cathay faction since my lets play with the Jade Dragon last year so I haven't had much reason to turn this one on.

Hey, could one of the authors maybe add to this? So this can *probably* (or definitely?) be used without major problems in 5.0 campaign, maybe to be safe from campaign start in any case?

astromancers do not have agent subtyle in db/campaign_character_art_sets_tables - why is that? doesnt it cause issues?

Have you verified your game files? This isn't causing any crashes for me and I play with 150+ mods

so I tested the 4 mods separately (and with all my other mods) and only the Shugengans one crashed my game..

With the mod alone, the game doesn't start for me..

No prob! Eventually I would like to make some celestial general alternates but admittedly I don't actually "play" the game all that much, so I may put them off for a bit. Plus there's already some good reskins out there to mess with in the mean time.

If anything I'm looking to help make some characters to contribute to the SCM team, in addition to some faction ideas, but I wouldn't mind trying to earn some cheevos while playing the game while I'm at it too lol
