updating the tables means exporting all the data on an excel sheet, and then rebuilding the mod, putting the data back into the new, oddly sorted new mod, because CA reshuffles the data sheet sometimes, and it was a nightmare when they did that with the huge main_units table

th edark fortress mod rescales the economy so it isn't unbalanced
but you'll have to try with this mod, i can't say
i'm too lazy to redownload all my old mods, go back and update all the schemas because CA reshuffled them again

Does the AI use this mod? I dont want to use the Dark Fortress mod because of game balance. I would like to just make outposts into normal minor settlements.

For anyone interested in the mod, I have merged this concept with the concept of having all major settlements as dark fortresses

it should be an upgrade of this mod, as this mod is pretty dated and I am now able to mod things previously impossible
so best to check out this new mod, you might like it a bit more

I just wish the AI WOC got Chosens again. They are too dumb to use the Warband system to spam Chosens.

Not entirely sure if your mod is to blame, but my game crashed when a Dark Elf army tried to occupy a settlement (The Great Arena) owned by Valkia the Bloody at the time. Something seems to be going wrong there and it bricked my Throgg campaign.

Beautiful mod unfortunately the update made it incompatible. So please do an update, this mod makes the warriors of chaos more playable.

The two main cities of Cathay (near the end of the great walls) have the same problem. It is written that this is a place for a dark fortress, but there are only 4 slots (although by default these are large cities for 8-10 slots).

these are basegame rules I believe, the game considers some settlements to have more or less building slots

In some places for a dark fortress, during the occupation, ordinary minor settlements are built (for 4 slots, but with buildings from a dark fortress) (for example, the first settlement of a vilitch). Is this a vanilla bug or a mod bug?

Would very much like to see an update to this mod, as I believe it just crashed my Aranessa campaign when the minor Ogre faction near Drycha - Treestompers, I believe they're called - attacked Talabheim controlled by Festus. Not sure if this mod is the culprit, but it seems to be.

The major settlements are dark fortresses has been expanded a little to add a little bit of outpost progression, this conflicts with the outposts expanded mod for chaos, thus you probably want to replace your major settlements are dark fortress mod with this one: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2981050082

I can't remove code, thus it can't vanilla, as I do not see it in my build, are you sure there's not a mod ghosting you? meaning there's a mod on that is unseen on? try starting your game with the "launch with no mods" and then start with mods

must be a by-product of the vanilla chaos alter. it has +2 public order, but once you upgrade it, it loses the +2. i think it would be perfectly balanced if it maintained the base +2 public order. it may also not be too far too ask for a +1 per tier up?

the tier 1 outpost has a +2 control modifier, but tier 2-3 it completely disappears. any chance this is an oversight, or another mod over writing the value? currently dealing with control not being in a surplus in a lot of my settlements, and it makes me uneasy, lol

this isn't really specific to this mod I think, I think this is a problem in the entire game, ruining buildings causes unseen issues as all values on a the building are set to 0, and some effects can't be 0, like recruiting agents and some other ones

Huh. Not entirely sure if it's related to this mod, but had a similar crash issue. End of turn crash hitting during an empire faction, and was able to skip is by using the console mod to force a recently sacked Fecundites outpost to abandon.

Might be the double-sacking thing you mentioned earlier, but not entirely sure.

I have no idea, you might want to load an auto save, as the game might be unable to readjust, it means changing the mod doesn't change your safe sadly
or something else is going on which I don't know, I do know that ruining settlements is an unexplored region of the game and might bring problems
