This has got to be one of the most memorable and impressive maps I've played for this game, I love everything about it. 10/10 with an imaginary 0.5 point deduction because I am bad at puzzles

I dropped the batteries in the water and when I got them out, I went into the water...and it was like a real dive in water... This is the genius map. After watching the walkthrough, it was still very interesting to play it later.

Echoing the previous comments, this level was extremely unique and well done. I also needed a hint to find one of the stones, the gameinstructor never worked even though it is enabled, my backpack disappeared at one point (but came back on reloading the manual save), and weirdly enough smooth locomotion stopped working at one point also. Really fun and enjoyable to play. Cool new game mechanics. The backpack is really cool!
Stones were challenging to find (thx for the hint).
First playthrough was me finding all but one of the stones and subsequently walking 2hrs through the wood and caves, trying out all sorts of stuff including "sacrificing a sandwich to a tree".

Wow, really incredible level. I basically mirror @A Jolly Toaster, This feels like a whole new game. Plus, you have the best forest out of any HLA mods (people add to many trees and it lags the game) but obviously you don't have that problem. Finding the last few runes was kinda a pain, I don't think I would of found them if not for your hints here in the comments. However, the adventure game elements and presentation were really great to play (not the mention the backpack mechanic, it was so natural to use). Thanks for making.

Only one is buried, the tree symbols are directional hints. Without knowing which you've found it's hard to hint, but there are some nice trees planted by the cabin. There's also a nice fire crackling a little too bright at camp. Explorers before yourself might have discovered something and packed it up.

I dug up a rune by the tree with the phi symbol on it, but now I'm stuck wondering what to do by the circled X tree. Tried digging again with no luck. Got a hint? I found 3 other runes while exploring for a total of 4. Missing 2 of them I assume have to do with the other 2 trees. Can't find the "K" tree yet/

This is genuinely one of the coolest things I have ever seen in Half life Alyx. It feels and looks like a completely new different game. I am beyond impressed with this and I would say that this is actually one of the coolest maps ever made for this game.
