Very welcome!
I made a mod of this just for people like you :)
Check it out: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3148030510
Indeed they are. I would consider setting Unit detail to Ultra to see all variants.
Try the Compatibility version of this mod. You'll have to unsub from this one first. It's this mod without model changes, those are vanilla helmets I believe. They have probably been overwritten by my tabletop touches which came later.

At some point I may put them in, as 4K textures... we'll see, this mod is already pretty big. 4K weapons will easily make it clear the 3GB mark. Glad you like it!
@whatfrank
Thanks, pleased someone noticed hahaha!
I adore the changes, thank you again!
I got all the new characters/units except for Ruglud's crossbow orcs, there is a bizarre graphical glitch that occurs when I try to modify their textures. They are untouched for now.
Seems to happen every few patches, my textures get jacked up. Thank you, it's fixed now. They will be re-converted to 4K at a later date.
I tested it with only this mod activated and nasty skulkers get black torsos which disappear the further you go away
For some reason I don't have this issue. Sounds like a mod conflict, hope you figure it out!
Thanks!
Not sure which unit you're talking about. All of these textures were hand imported from the WH2 mod. In general the intent was to have Orc Boyz be a kind of pastel green, while Savage Orcs have a darker shade because of sun exposure, with Black Orcs having the darkest shade.
It is also possible that if you're running any Orc unit mods they may overwrite or not be covered in this mod.
Arrer Boyz hoods now reach across their shoulders, as seen on some of their tabletop models. They also now have quivers.
@leezikzik
Ogla Khan's Wolf Boyz, Chaos Dwarfs RoR unit.
Very welcome!
Very possibly it is compatible, Azhag doesn't have all that much green exposed, so if Frob didn't make any custom textures for that guy, especially for the head, then it should be compatible if this one loads on top of that one.
Not possible to improve LOD quality with this mod. There is a LOD improver I THINK for one of Hooveric's mods, you could maybe install that mod, and then have this one load on top. The problem with improving LODs is that it is largely reliant on forcing the unit models to be 'high-quality' at all distances which requires custom models, even if the model itself is vanilla in appearance, which in turn just creates more compatibility issues with other Greenskin mods that actually do create custom models (like that Azhag Scourge of Red Mountain reskin, if I made it so Azhag has high quality LOD in this mod, it would be incompatible with that mod).
Very likely they are, but I can't recall since this thing was released so long ago. Because you asked of progress, it reminded me to edit the original mod description, as my mentioned goals of having hooded Arrer Boyz, tabletop style helmet variants, have all come to pass.
Short of me finding some tabletop model to take inspiration from, I would say the mod is complete (until CA releases a new Orc/Goblin unit for this mod to edit). In the imminent future I'll be releasing a version that doesn't have any custom models, just texture only, to play nice with more model intensive reskins.
Worked like a charm !!! Thank you my friend :D
Go into the packfile and delete anything related to variantmeshdefinitions, material folders, .wsmodels and rigid_models. Should be the ticket.
I'll make it all an official mod when I get home soon.
What do I need to modify using RPFM to keep only the green texture for skin so that It is completely compatible with other reskins?
This mod is not compatible with that one for now.
In the future I'll release a version of this that is texture changes only, and that would be compatible.
-Gave Hobgoblins red eyes like their western cousins.
-Orc & Goblin Labourers now have red eyes, Goblin Labourers have a retuned skin tone that is properly green and not so bright yellowish.
-Ogla Khan's Wolf Boyz now have appropriately Mongol style facial hair.
Great news, I was able to sneak away and bum some wifi off an Army gym. Mod is updated. Gobbo Squig RoR back to normal.
Yeah in January I added more tabletop style head variants across the board. Haven't touched the body's at all though
