The mod is still a little buggy in multiplayer. One temporary fix you can do is go into the config, turn off the lights and then turn them back on, and it should work again.

For me this would be a little too op, but an option to have it only glow when a player is nearby would be awesome, but I'm not sure how feasible that is

Hey Chev, any chance that you could make separate mod for glowing gems and gem trees?
I'm actually stunned that no one made this already, I know the gems are giving a faint spark but on high resolution it's barely visible or I'm just blind.

No, this mod doesn't support any modded variants of life fruits. But you could ask the author of that mod for a config option to make mana fruits emit light.

Heyo! Loved this mod and been using it for a good while, really gives a power feeling to the crystals. I do have a tiny suggestion to make aswell, may the new Mana Crystals glow aswell? Yknow for consistency sake? I saw them and this mod popped into my head. It would look very nice in builds too! If you happen to see this Id be very appreciative! Great little mod!

as a fix for multiplayer, may I suggest for the custom enable/disable options to automatically turn themselves off and then back on after the server has loaded? it works when I play on a server run on cmd, but I have to do it manually every time I load in

since people like to call Life Crystals "Heart Crystal" why dont they call it Heart Fruit and Star Crystal?

The mod is updated for 1.4.4 now. If anyone runs into issues, be sure to comment them here.

Some notes:
- Multiplayer bug where lights sometimes don't work still isn't fixed yet, I'm still investigating that (assuming it still happens in 1.4.4).
- Life fruits now glow yellow instead of green, to help distinguish them from jungle spores (and also since they naturally glow that color, according to what people have said in the past).

As far as I can tell, forcing the mod to load through the development menu works fine in 1.4.4
(do not try this if you are inexperienced) I don't think you would need to make many changes to update it.

Most likely yes. I haven't been following the tModLoader scene for months, so I'll have to get accustomed to Terraria modding again, plus figuring out whatever 1.4.4 porting I may have to do (though this mod is fairly simple so I'm expecting it should be easy to port).

It should work fine with any mod, unless you happen to have a mod that also enables lighting for heart crystals & life fruits. In which case, it'll just use lighting from one mod or the other--it shouldn't cause any major issues.

just a heads up for multiplayer: doesn't seem to work on world load, but after entering the world, disabling the glow settings, saving, and then enabling them again seems to fix the issue

little known fact this used to be in the game, in ancient times past, also its not that op and its wierd relogic removed this so im adding this to ma playthrough :P
