Tested with only this mod as well. What's "not working at all"?
Though I need to update every time they push minor hotfixes too, it's very annoying.
They keep pushing updates all the time and it's exhausting to update the mod.
It takes time to update properly.
Idea: revert all the attack timeout changes, especially for ranged units - for melee, maybe only decrease the timout base value by 50%.
Then make so that experience progressively further decreases the attack timeouts (both melee and ranged) until the minimum allowed.
@Alvazia It's because the game caps at a minimum of 4 seconds of reload. Once you get there it can't get any faster, so any buffs are wasted.
almost perfect mod that makes warhammer almost perfect)
Even doing what you propose won't make this mod remotely balanced. Maths because.
This would make combat alot faster, but would retain the original balance.
