theres a glitch with tmtrainer where if empty book is used in a tmtrainer item it softlocks you, plz fix
please for the love of god i love this mod so much please please please do something about the performance im begging you. hand and knees. 2x2 in basement 1 with only other fiend folio compatible mods on being laggy makes me so sad. I've played with a bunch of mods on and off and this is always the one that gives performance the biggest hit overall despite being one of the best ones content wise :(

I love how much more variety and challenge the mod adds to the game, and there's some really cool ideas present as well
The only thing truly holding the mod back is the performance tax. I hope Reloaded, above all else, optimizes the code a bit

Waaaaaaay too ambitious for its own good. There are tons of really cool ideas and enemies but there is borderline zero tuning. There are rooms that feel like classic rebirth, there are some that are a little difficult but fair and then there are rooms that destroy half my health and have me going "How is this on Caves 1???".
I really wish I could have a version that cuts out anything that doesn't benefit the game as a whole. That is more for a selling product tho, it's basically impossible for a modding team to kill their darlings...

The settings I change in the dead sea scrolls menu return to default upon restarting the game! How can I make them save, does anyone know?

I'm getting a visual bug where enemies like the Bowler (and Striker / Striker Ball), when the bowler throws its head, the head sprite glitches up and down (visually) while moving, but stops glitching when it stops. With the Peak-A-Boo, when its eye comes out, same thing happens. Can someone help me?

id argue the consistency case in a different way. @penguin take for example poops and fireplaces in base game. theyre distinctly different and there are floors that replace either or. burning basement for example, as far as im concerned, replaces poops upon spawn with fireplaces. you wont see poop natively spawn there. try treating beehives similarly as a new obstacle.

no offense but what are you doing complaining about having to relearn things on a overhaul mod it’s literally gigantic and
changes up most of the gameplay of course you’ll have to relearn things isn’t that the point? I know there is a lot of content mods but with the amount of enemies and new room layouts you’ll have trouble if you don't relearn and the whole point of the mod is to make all the floors feel different and play different you just gotta learn them individually that’s the cost of the mod I guess

so, I tried this mod recently, and I'm uninstalling for one reason specifically, that being that poop and rocks seem to be changed into completely different objects in each area?
The only issue I have w this is, well, two things actually, one is that it kinda makes me need to relearn each area from scratch, as I no longer know what each piece does or how it interacts with any other, if I have a poop related item, do beehives trigger that for example? I feel like they shouldn't, but the area seems to have no other poop like items around so they must right?
my other issue is that with the other thing, it also makes me unsure of even the most basic question of "can this be destroyed by a bomb?" I have tried to bomb things I thought were bombable multiple times to no avail, lol ndfkdnsjkfs

but yeah, just thought I'd post in whatever this is as feedback or something, idk

on the positive side, the section in the options for "tracking" was utterly hilarous lmao

The BEST content mod for Isaac.
Excellent sprites of EVERYTHING in the game, and better in combination with Meep's Monster Resprite mod. A lot of content to explore, waiting for next update :steamhappy:

repentance + isn't yet compatible with huge mods like this one, so expect not to work or constant crashes untill the people working on the game come up with a stable version of repentance + and when modders will bi able to come with a version for that.

i imagine i'm the first person in the entire world to ever have had this issue, but i took Shard of Glass and used the tarot that gives you key shots in exchange for costing keys to fire, and every single shard of glass blood tear drains a key making it functionally impossible to actually gain them back, likely just an oversight

had a run where i encountered some really strange bugs. i'd have rooms just be unable to clear properly, despite the enemies all being dead. some rooms, the enemies would be unkillable. these glitches happened on cathedral and chest floor. i do have other mods installed, but i don't see why any of them would affect this. almost all of them are just visual/QOL mods. seed was ZHWH JPXD , and i was playing cain. 100% savefile if that matters

Eh, can't agree with that. Quality on it's own doesn't mean much. In FF there are two quality 4 boss items but they feel more like mid quality 3 level. One is +0.7 damage and +0.5 tears, and the other is +0.9 damage and a soul heart and less than a second of enemy freeze. That's not overpowered at all; they feel inline with vanilla Isaac item balancing imo. In fact, there are many quality 3 items in the vanilla game that are better. FF barely adds any Q4 items that are normally obtainable, the ratio is probably lower than the vanilla game, and the ones it does add aren't even that powerful compared to vanilla Q4 items.
And before Repentance, Magic Mushroom was in boss pools and that's way stronger than any boss item from FF.

i didn't say it was flash isaac BS but that doesn't make it good either
and vanilla isaac is actually really balanced now, you should not be able to get q4 items so easily. fiend folio added a Q4 to the boss pool, they're insane and not in a good way

The enemies are great, all 500+ of them. If you go back and play flash Isaac, you'll see what real BS feels like. This mod actually has effort put into playtesting so every enemy and room is deliberate and fair. It's actually better than the vanilla game in that regard. So the only complaint I can agree with is that this mod makes the game too easy.

mod kinda sucks.

it's super unbalanced, new additions like molten penny and the glass dice completely break the balance of the game imo. what's the point of trying when you can just use glass spindown and get two brimstones with zero effort.

it's buggy as hell on rep+ and it's been months since the last update. it makes the game run at half speed permanently too, it's super unoptimized

enemies range between really fun (a couple) and the most infuriating BS ever allowed to be on the workshop (most of them)

none of the items in the mod are ones i enjoy seeing btw, it's all just annoying reference
humor (woowwww i wonder if you guys like homestuck) or ADDING MORE GODDAMN FAMILIARS WHEN I FIND A PLANETARIUM AND IT'S DEIMOS I WANT TO STICK A RUSTY HOOK IN MY BRAIN.

also it pisses me off that other additions like double tap drop are locked behind playing this mod.


and this is just a pet peeve but add more shop restock room layouts you scrooges.

Is there any chance the Dad's Home+ challenge could get looked at? I don't find it very fun to have to restart over and over again looking for a good item AND good room/enemy rng. It's not a fun kind of challenge like The Gauntlet, which is hard but it's totally your fault as the player if you die. Whereas in Dad's Home, if you just get unlucky (so, 90% of the time) the amount of enemies in the room reaches critical mass before you even reach the first boss and you unavoidably die to enemies spawning on top of you (not to mention the boss itself). It's this mod's Ultra Hard (actually worse in some regards) and that's not a positive.

Godfather you can hide room names by pressing F1 during a run and then going to Fiend Folio, this is the mod settings. There should be an option in there to turn them off completely, appear briefly when entering a room OR have them appear when opening the map (I'm a fan of this last option)
