i justed my v2, it work, its pretty much the only one of my mod that still work launching from the workshop tab, also i realise they are not broken, you can still launch all my maps with the console, it only crash if you launch them with the workshop tab, even though it aint normal i will contact the bm dev

thats the old version! and the black mesa update broke most of the old maps, just get the v2.0 this one work

UPD! Well, I can say that for the first time there is a remake of the demo ver. of the chapter “We are not alone” from the original. the addition H-L: OF came out at a decent and excellent level, it is clear that the author is progressing and has at least some talent for reworking (apparently a fan-enthusiast-developer), yeah, let the chapter turn out to be extremely short (a demo - is a demo), and then you made a better and slightly longer remake version of the same chapter.

In general, it’s best to get acquainted with the demo ver. as a training and how the author started with the basics, it’s a pity that the author is NOT going to do the entire OF remake according to his own decision, sometimes it’s intolerable to wait for OBM by Tripmine Studios and it’s not known when it'll realised:bms:

Briefly about when we got F****D waiting for the official remake from Tripmine Studios of their Operation Black Mesa and decided to make their own remake in the form of a mod from the best levels of Opposing Force:bms_crowbar::bms::burst1:

V1.6 is finally here, this update has only one addition but i think it will be liked. It was requested alot that i bring the easter eeg zone seen in the opfor version where you can teleport yourself in hazard course. Well its now possible to go there now, Just wait for the displacer gun to finish teleporting and malfunctioning then you can entrer a portal to hazard course.

Well.. Besides that. I don't want this to sound offensive or anything but when seeing Gordon run into the portal.. It just looks poorly made and felt like you were probably a bit lazy trying to recreate when Shepard sees Gordon run into the portal. Even for the fact he has the Long jump pack on.

You clearly just didnt play my mod lol i like people that complain and dont play the mod.. seriously...at v1.0 it was indeed not behind gordon! i just didnt update the pictures, if you would have play it or just read the notes change of v1.5 you would have know that i remade the spawn area. Next time before saying false information just try the mod please...

You also messed up when shepard sees gordon run into the portal! He is supposed to appear behind Gordon because there is a door. Watch this video of a Mod and it'll make sense:

No i cant do that, this is a model and not an npc, adding a mp5 to gordon would need to change the model and that i cant do. Anyway i want it to be consistent to the og wich he dont have a gun on him neither.

Update to v1.5
-The first area is the biggest change, as its also different, instead of using the gordon door! You get to be behind gordon like in the original.
-Rebalanced shake on the mod overall
-Displacer gun easter egg
-Added manta on the xen area
-Restored opfor music
-Ending credits teasing crush depth

The only change i plan to make latter is to perfect the gordon scene a little bit. Because compiling this map in final is very long.

Now that crush depth is in definitive edition v1.5

I started working on a v1.5 for we are not alone, the biggest change is that im restoring the orignal spawn area. Some other minor change will be made, update should be out tomorrow!

No saddly, since we cant add new npcs to black-mesa, the race x are replaced with black mesa npcs! but im atleast trying to have a opfor hud and possibly wrench and desert eagle, but this isnt sure yet.

I confirm that with the actual vanilla ui everything shows up in game! For the old ui, you have to look in your game option. So first, go to bindings, then go to miscellaneous, then change the developer console key to the one you want! After that click on your console key, and type this in the console : map bm_of3a1

And to asnwer your last question i also confirm this isnt caused by mod because it dosent replace or change any vanilla maps or textures/models, my guess is that you have another mod installed that mess this up.

There is nothing to fix, i just tested it again and it work, if your using the old ui you need to type the map name in console

Tbh if you want to feel nostalgic you should try to play the og opfor first, also this is only one chapter of opfor though, but its not required tbh its up to you haha

Since you're going to expand to Crush Depth, more appropriate loadout should probably be added, like the RPG, tripmines, a knife reskin of the crowbar (used to be plenty, or again take from from CS: GO). You could even bundle in the AWP by Taras as the 'sniper rifle.' (way too early in the campaign, but would give a fighting chance against things in Crush Depth.)
Based on my own playthroughs of OP4. you'd have barely any .357 cartridges or shotgun shells going in, after fighting the hordes of black ops.

Very excited for Crush Depth.

I've had a couple thoughts. Do with them as you may.
Shep's recon, so would be bare-armed. Could use CS: GO arms if you're not much of an artist.
BM's 'flashlight' can be easily manipulated to create a nighvision effect.
While there's no easy way to add the displacer weapon to BM (lacking source code and all), a smoking, damage prop of it could be dropped with the scientist, and a semi-secret teleport could maybe take the player to the displacer location appropriate to this map (jump training, ruined and overrun hazard course). I know you've imported both HL1 and HL source stuff, so...
The look at Freeman if you manage the jump is easily missed since it's not right in front of you, and the player falls really, really fast. Maybe start Freeman in his actual BM Xen location, casually walking up the path to the telescope and equipment instead, while Shep ends up on an unstable rock, and falls to his death?

i know what you mean now but tbh it shouldnt matter because this is a remake and not a direct recreation/port. I took the liberties to remake it in my way and change some little things but not to much neither.
