Se supone que produce menos carga para el juego.
In my personal experience, basically any samurai infantry unit is fully capable of beating Yari Ashigaru in yari wall, even yari samurai. Their main power comes from sheer weight of numbers.
Obviously Yari wall grants a decent advantage, (ie, attacking without retaliation) but there's also this very annoying behavior where, as the formation starts losing numbers, the soldiers will actually switch the side they're standing on instead of just filling in the gap right in front of them. That has always been my main source of frustration.
That said, do you mind specifying which one?
Also, just an idea but could you make a mod where it's the same but you kept some of the kill animations?
