photoshop > Gimp
subtance painter > Quixel Mixer

alright ill look at the video, do you know any good free softwares i could use? I feel like id rather see if this is something I should commit too before I purchase photoshop or something like that

Oh, it's hard to explain, I was collecting information bit by bit. Try this course on artstation "Revolver Tutorial - Industry ready weapon and attachment creation for video games"

But it might be difficult to get started. Probably need to learn something new every day and not quit. Learn blender, substance painter, zbrush, photoshop.
