Whatever you did seems to have done the trick for me. It loads in Single Player just fine now.

I found out that some of the face flexes was why it crashed in sp. maybe someone should test it out and see if it still persists.

fix it, i want tomoko in l4d2 and she just crashes the game :(

@A Pole you know Try playing it in Multiplayer. It doesn't work in Single Player or on Local Servers, but it works just fine if you're playing online.

No idea if it helps, but if you go to MP and set it to Local Server it also crashes. I know next to nothing when it comes to coding, especially for this game, but maybe it's related to the servers?

i unfortunately dont have that much time to look into this issue since im in mid exam so im sorry that it might take a while for me to look into it.

I really have no idea currently on whats causing it to crash in singleplayer. usually when it comes to survivor models crashing it usually has something to do with the model animations, even then they only crash in multiplayer. but in my case its even weirder since not only does the player anims work fine in mp but it somehow crashes the game in sp. i still dont have a clue on why it doesnt crash in sp in my end.

this mod crashes my game whenever I try to use it in single player

so after reading the comment by Infinite Being, i decided to test an online game with a buddy of mine, it works as intended with no bugs, but it leads to the following issue, why does this model crashes when i attempt to play it on single player?

So last night, a group of my friends played with this mod (we share character mods for lols), and found that it worked perfectly fine. Hearing about the issues, however, I decided to test this mod out further, by pasting the original version into my addons folder. Testing it in Single Player with Whitakers Gun Range caused it to crash for some reason, but loading it into a Private Online on No Mercy, the mod worked perfectly.

So for whatever reason, others are likely experiencing their crashes because they're loading into SP instead of MP. That's my experience with this mod.
