To clarify for people: This came to be because, when chatting in the Rimworld Discord, it was mentioned that all other forms of fungus in the game die when exposed to light, except devilstrand. So it was deemed necessary to make it not a fungus anymore. You're welcome.

Yep, literally nothing changes except the flavor text, name, and texture of devilstrand.

seems like no gameplay changes, it just changes the texture and name of devilstrand

Hello, I'm a new player to Rimworld and I read the description and understand that it renames the only mushroom that grows in the light. I don't understand what effect that has gameplay wise though. Could you explain it to me in layman's terms please?
