That would be outside of the buildings' boundaries and they would float or become buried underground if placed on uneven terrain.

Yeah they do look a little strange if on the tank. I take it that you have no choice on their placement.?

It does look good with the signs being discreet next to the storage tanks.

Such letterings would look unnatural on these tanks IMO... (IRL they would paint the letters on the tanks themselves)
