Also the mod is incompatible with real space, any megastructures built with the extradimensional shipset, primarily the ringworlds, will not be sized correctly.

You are right,balance is important.
I might add some options at the game beginning window to set mod‘s output.
I‘m preparing some interesting function in other new megastructures which have a high cost,so high resource product ability is necessary. Otherwise, MOD crisis is coming soon....more edicted planets may be needed.
For more gateship functions, such as the ability to expand the gateship into a stargate, you need to select the control function in the dimension controller, turn on a hover button located at the top right of the main interface, and then use that hover button to set the specific gateship.

Really hope there will eventually be a balancing submod to increase building times, reduce resource outputs and generally bring this mod closer in balancing to mods like giga or zofte.
I did try it as the only mod running other than the "patch" mods (The Merger of Rules, Universal Resource Patch, and Universal Modifier Patch below it and Ariphaos Unofficial patch at the top).
This is a really cool mod by the way, I love the alternate research track you set up.
