the design of the geography with rivers and mountains is really well done, but the distribution of resources is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥. spawning in the mountains in the west there's areas where there's barely any food tiles or resources, and the map is so big that if you spawn in the middle of it it's really hard to get out and find better land.

you can go into world builder and put them down. it takes no more than 2 minutes since there is only 3 civs "true" starts on this map.
