@thelarch Yes, go into Settings > Controls > Keybindings then scroll down to Mod Controls and change 'Swap the entire hotbar' to whatever you want.

Is it possible to change the hotbar from Capslock to something else?

@chemerone It took me awhile, but there's now a option within Mod Configuration for adjusting the double-press threshold.

@Takaflecha Do you mean you'd like to have the entire hotbar swap to a different row based on which loadout you are in? You can kind of do that manually already by rolling the entire inventory up one slot. I think I made the default keybind for that 'Z'.

hey! I would LOVE if u make an option to change hotbar based on Current Loadout, that woul be so much more easier to swap between

@chemerone Well, I started to impalement that, but struggled because I have no experience with that sort of customisation and then I got sidetracked and haven't gotten back to it. I'll try to get back to it soon.

I think either 1 or 3 will work for me. Personally, IDC as long as it actually occurs.

@HyperFrieza Well, turns out tModLoader can't have Shift+Z as a single keybind, but there's several ways around this.
1) I make two keybinds that must be pressed together and both can be configured under keybinds.
2) I make one custom keybind that always requires Shift to be held first.
3) I make one custom keybind that doesn't require anything else to be held.
It doesn't really matter to me which I do so I thought I'd ask first.

@Han Solo-ion First off, it is HyperFrieza. And I think cycling the whole inventory with a holddown like Shift+Z or such may work. All I'd really need/want is one direction to go down.

@HyperFrienza Now that I probably have some more time I can probably start work on rotating the entire inventory. I think that the easiest way would be to add dedicated buttons for rotating the inventory one way or the other, but I'm not sure which 2 would be best for default keys. I could maybe instead make it so that you press 2 buttons to rotate the whole inventory, say shift+caps lock. Which do you prefer?

That would work, but many people like it the way that is is and might not like to have a different way forced on them. I'd need some way to switch between the different methods to keep everyone happy.

Just do what you did to swap bars, and instead make it so that each bar is pushed up one, and put the top bar back at the bottom.

That's definitely something I could think about doing. I'm not sure exactly how I'd implement it, though.

Any chance we can get a version that cycles hotbars, not just swapping them?
