I apologise for the trouble. Without going into egregious detail, it turns out that my problem was unrelated to the mod, but was instead due to how Steam handles workshop install data.
In short: my Terraria install is on a different SSD from my Steam install, resulting in a mismatch between the two copies of workshop data kept in each separate file.
Sorry again. Steam is janky.
Please ensure the issue is not from other packs you may have installed, as platforms, furniture, and paintings have been tested and are confirmed to work. You can do this by enabling your packs one by one until the issue occurs, then report it on their workshop page
