Exactly the mod I was looking for! Thank you. It's crazy that Rimworld doesn't offer a built-in Main Menu music slider.

Yep, it should work with literally any version of the game unless they make a huge change to how the game handles music tracks.

Regardless, I've updated the About.xml so that it won't complain.

Maybe try verifying the game files in steam? I've been using it since 1.4 and it still works fine on my end.

ripped out all the music mods (P-music, Music Manager, Music on the Rim) and started a new colony so nothing 'inherited' in the settings. Still getting the music on the menu. Maybe 1.4 has the setting different internally? Sigh.

@aspendosia try running the game with only this mod. It sounds like a different mod changing the main menu song, which would override this mod.

Might be my setup, but under 1.4 and even putting this at the top of the mod list, it doesn't stop that horrid menu jaunty plinky music.
