Ok, I guess I'm too much of a noob to figure out what to do with the developer console... In any event, for the benefit of anyone else finding theirself in the same situation... I had to change my advanced video settings for anti aliasing a few times. I'd make a change, and it would seem fine, and then I'd have to go adjust again. I couldn't see the portalable surface inside the wall, toward the ceiling facing the room with red lasers, but it's there.

@MarvinG - I changed antialiasing. Fixed textures on floors, but walls look off. Is there a setting that works better than others? Where do you see fast math?

There are arrows pointing you to a portalable surface by the gap

I obtained both cubes, killed the turrets and lit up the laser. From the light bridge I can see that there is a button behind the red force field. I cannot see any surfaces to fling a cube over there so there must be another solution.

Also those missing textures are just specular errors you have to turn down your shader detail to get rid of them. This is a bug in Portal 2 itself which I can't fix.

Got soft locked by the weatley easter egg, which the faith plate kept flinging me into the pit, and i dont know if its part of another easter egg, but i got stuck in a floor under the large pit between the faith plates.

I don't get that incomprehensible part; well I do get the little names I assign to individual moves may be puzzling, but the general idea of bracket in and making Leap-of-Logic should be applicable for anyone trying to solve chambers of harder difficulty.

That's the "leap-of-logic" there, something beyond the laser field, you can't get to it the portal way, not LB, so there must be a place to fling out but it is not you to fling out since it is just laser field to you.

idk if it makes me stupid, but i couldn't figure it out. i got the reflector cube and got stuck on that part. its a cool puzzle though.

Spoiler (sort of) I found those two hidden rooms and Wheatley behind the standard cube dispenser but it was disappointing that they didn't contribute anything at all to the solution.

Not bad, although there's a leap-of-logic here, that's what I call as logical assumption of the next stage of logic otherwise it would be a malfunctioning chamber. And stairs to the central platform is not needed since aerial faith plated Mole Pop can juuuuust reach the platform.
