Needs team colors or instead should be way more team neutral. The red is also too saturated.

You can almost HEAR the edgelord sniper mains frantically entering their parents credit card details to buy hats with this effect.

And Emotional Backup Toad, i probably will change the effect colours to something that doesnt do the funny "team recognition!!" down the line, just wanted to see how it was received :). Then again i might not... We'll find out

kind of seems like you just took a few already existing particle effects and made them red

Doesn’t change the fact that it is big. It’s still a giant blotch of red that would mess with team recognition a bunch. I wouldn’t mind it being this big if it wasn’t a color like red or blue.
Take Frostbite as an example. It a large effect but the colors have low saturation, and even though there's a little bit of blue, it's barely noticeable since the white overshadows it.
Maybe try making the red the lesser color and make the most prominent color some shade of purple or black, not red.

Frostbite is close to being 2x bigger than this effect

This effect is so large. Maybe make it a little smaller? I think it looks good, beside that.
