I would advise making a backup of your mod somewhere other than for the Steam Workshop. Nintendo has been going after several Workshop addons with nintendo Content on various workshops. The Gmod one is particularly famous but they also went after Fraymakers, some TF2 maps, and some SFM addons.
Seems hard to get enough card draw to make the low cost cards useful."
hi you could try a custom game with just this mod and the silent as cards and relics in the pool - that might be interesting too :)
even when playing the other character i also got the beat relic (5/4) but it is still nice to see :)
Haven't quite gotten the hang of her yet, since I generally keep dying to a lack of block, but I'm definitely going to keep trying!
Of course you could spare yourself the trouble and leave 4/4 as a bonus relic that's always there.
About Nob, overall buffs are incoming soon. I'm not sure if I want to add a blocking version of MandrillStrike, because the Rhythm Girl may have too much block gain then.
If you trade in your starter relic, you will immediately obtain the 5/4 time signature event relic that gives a measure after 5 beats instead of 4. So you will still be able to play all the cards from the card rewards, but there is this extra beat that negatively affects the common "On Beat" and "Measure Gain" deck archetypes. However, it does promote the Rhythm Girl's alternative deck archetype of earning at least measures as possible. So veteran players may be tempted to try out new cards like EarlyBird, CoffeeBreak, TryAgain, PartyCracker, LaunchParty, PreParty and RatRace.
Do try to redesign the starter relic though and tie measures to the character herself like beats. If you trade it, you effectively add curses to your card rewards.
It's also in this weird spot where it might do nothing for most of the run until you find a power that suddenly secures your damage scaling with it. There's definitely a middle ground that puts it in line with other starters.
Apropos balance, you probably want to swap mandrill strike and into you for nob reasons. This makes your louse matchup worse but both cards could use a micro buff anyway. I'd recommend the dash approach whose numbers are a touch higher than average because it does 2 things ok rather than 1 thing well.
