Pulling the ball at the back as shown on the video. It doesn't work with other items, only the balls provided.

You can try shooting with one button (T) and reload with another (R) if there's extra ball available. To reload manually you need to follow the exact sequence, and the burning ball will catch the whole thing in fire eventually if not released.

also i tried firing the ball but it wont shoot, i tried pulling the string but it didn't work also, and why is wood this would fricking burn

Unfortunantly very.... dysfunctional. The mechanics of it break easily and you can't let the ball fly in those cases. Trying to spawn a new one breaks it even more I think

i have a suggestion, can you make it possible for the trebuchet to aim 360 degrees left and right? Currently, the gear used to turn the trebuchet is connected to the base of the trebuchet, which limits turning to about 35 degrees or so

Added a fix where now you can remove the existing ball from the trebuchet (to load a different type) and it will work as expected

The ammo reload works in a slightly complicated way at the moment.
1) When you already have one ball loaded, you can't replace it (it is not looking for a new ball
2) the new ammo must be at either at the front or back of the guide to be "noticed" (no trigger in the middle)

the only mods that i can think of that could conflict with this one would be dynamic debris removal and the collateral damage mod

i have another issue, the spawnable ammo doesnt work with the trebuchet when manually reloading. i have like a whole ton of mods installed so perhaps thats the problem, but could you look into it anyway?

The auto reload teleports in the closest available ball not a new one. So if you only have 1 ball on the map, you just fired (and is still on fire) it will be the one coming. Can fix by spawning more ammo. Perhaps I'll fix it better.

For easy aiming, go to the back, adjust aim and enable "Auto Aim" the next few sec whatever you look at when you first press use (LMB) will be aimed at. The up and down part of auto aim doesn't work too well, I'd still adjust that manually.

i also have a suggestion, can you make it easier to rotate the trebuchet left and right? ideally using keybinds that show up when you look at it (i dont know what they are called0 or some UI? that would be pretty awesome

i think i have a bug with this, when pressing r to reload automatically, the cannon ball that respawns goes on fire instantly and destroys the trebuchet within seconds because of the fire. I always reload after it fires, and I dont reload it when im not supposed to

press R on the keyboard to auto reload. Only works when it makes senses (ie not reloading already, not reloaded yet, not in the middle of shooting etc)
