A painting system sounds interesting, a bit like the spray-painting system for weapons that some mods offer.

Not yet ;) Its something that's been in the works for a while. I need to do further study to learn how wrecks spawn parts on them.

Generally I Advise Servers that use traders to put the parts in the traders. and have a limited variety to spawn on the map.

Maybe i could come up with a painting System to allow painting of the doors to other patterns.

@Tech do you have a wreck model of this car that's placeable on the map (like via Editor or something)? It would be nice to have to place around the map for players to find parts. Easily the worst thing about car mods is that the parts clog up the lootdispatch and/or industrial spawn table. Just checking, still love the mod!

It affects your normal Hilux. If I stand in front of or next to it with a screwdriver in my hand and point near or at the battery, there is no option for me to pick it up or screw it tight.

the battery mem point should be where the battery physically displays.

what model of truck are you seeing issues on?

I have one question: Where is the point where you can remove the battery and screw it back on? It works for the cooler, but I haven't found anything for the battery.

A update is rolling out to patch the crash with GG variants of the truck. Mad Props to Josie for being on top of things and having a patch ready in less then 30 mins!

just some expansion mods, not the full pack though. only other thing that really affects vehicles on my server is SFE no vehicle damage. It's just the GG variants of the truck, the small original one is absolutely fine and works perfect.

Hmm. I'll take a look and see if i can replicate this on my test server. are you running any other mods that may affect the Hilux or vehicles?

clarification, crashed with the hilux4x4 tires too - also I am using expansion, so i am unsure if this is a problem with their stuff or the truck in general. This is only happening to the GG Lifted one though

Hi, I tested your mod and it's really good, but the "gg" versions are a bit buggy, especially the back seats. The character is sitting under the car or floating.

Provided Steam allows for imgur links, anyways. Cab seats are mostly fine, they rotate a few degrees but its not game-breaking. Bed seats however, do this silly-straw BS.

Getting in and out, yes. Actually was gonna grab a small clip so you can see whats going on.

These are Josie's variants. I'll have to dig into them and see if i can find out whats going on.

I don't think its intended, but the bed seats on the lifted Hilux seem to project the player into and under the cab? This also occurs for the flatbed variant. Normal works fine though.

You may get an error loading Hilux_events file included as there seems to be a typo with an extra space added in all four spawn events for the blue vehicle, if that helps.

Tech, I have the same Hilux model. We went to some trouble to separate the hood and create an engine bay to make the vehicle more immersive, but i'm not sure when the time will come around to import it. Add me back on steam so we can talk, and you can use it to update this mod if you wish

There is no config, its a simpler mod adding one truck. You'd have to write your own custom script to overwrite the default value in my trucks script...
