HunterAP: I am really glad you like the sub! The campaign optimized for vanilla just means it is made for the base "vanilla" version of the game with no other required mods. All the parts on the sub are from the vanilla base parts selection. Its not phrased the best I know. :)

I've only recently gotten into the game, and this is one of my favorite subs so far. I don't know if it was massively overpowered back in the day, but at this point, it's not, "optimized for vanilla campaign." It's grossly overpowered for vanilla. It's listed as Tier 2, but it's at least twice as powerful and feature rich as any of the tier 3 subs.

Dark Wizard: Run a wire from the docking port power to power in on the first battery in the battery chain. This will charge the battery from the station. You then switch to battery power and the station will power your sub. Careful of station overload on workshop outposts.

Thanks, that worked great. How do we make it so the sub accepts power from stations when docked, everything turns off and the right energy lights come on.

Dark Wizard: Disconnect the set turbine and fission rate wires from the reactor. All the reporting screens will still work this way but the circuit control for reactor will be off.

How do you disable auto reactor?

Not as far as I know, Its not an issue I've been having with other drones at least.

Darkside99x: The drone should be immortal and not require repairs except structural. Are you running any mods that may affect or replace components like pumps, engines, junction boxes or batteries?

I will take a look at the file tonight to see if a game update changed something.

Seems it's the external drone needing repairs that drives him crazy. It breaks every few minutes.

Having issues with the mechanic bot now, at dock he keeps taking the suits and hangs out above the upper airlock.

On a mission he while still wearing a suit with run back and forth on the little platform with the oxygen generator continuously until you take him off fix mechanical.

Mallory Flash: I have added fire extinguishers throughout. The lower docking port now has a lever to toggle docking on and off. Beware if using a shuttle this lever will force undock it! Also beware that the lower docking port supplies power to whatever it is connected to. So you will sometimes power up a wreck or beacon if their docking ports are wired.

Could the bottom moonpool door be made into a proper docking hatch? I would love to dock onto wrecks for salvage missions ^w^

Also there is a distinct lack of Fire Extinguisher holders. OSHA would be disappointed!

-Z- : It is updated for latest patch but I have not updated the price. The price will triple next time I update it as it is a bit cheap for what it is.

Is this sub fully updated as per latest patch?

SSG: I will be updating the pricing on all my subs. This one will be priced at about 45k. The drone being indestructible would be overpowered so it can definitely take damage but it is fully repairable with a welder and its components do not break.

Aside from those little annoyances and the low price point for its capabilities the ship is really cool though. I love the drone, he's just adorable. (Even though he's prone to sinking, poor fella)

Gryph: Thank you for commenting. The locked storage is intentional. It can be frustrating in some groups of friends but beneficial when playing with traitors enabled. The O2 racks not refilling is intentional as they are located in a fire prone area. The refillable shelves feed fire and can make fire very difficult to put out. The micromanagement is part of this specific subs gameplay. However you are welcome to edit it and use a personally customized build for you and your friends.

Having the reactor locked to Engineer is quite annoying for MP crews, same with the medbay storage being locked behind medical doctor, though this is mitigated by the medicine cabinet in the gun room. In addition the large O2 and Welding cannister storage doesn't refill whats stored inside of it, which forces you to use the limited slots in the oxygen generator to do that for you instead. Its a bit of annoying micromanagement is all.

At any rate, with all the features and better gun placement than the vanilla deep divers, this thing really should be at the same price point as them. Maybe 20-30k at least.

So not 100% sure whats going on with the ai but they seem to get stuck on the ladder when tryin to repair that status monitor in the command room on that slope, they just stay there till i boop them lol

Draconis: After some testing I reduced the salvage exit storage cabinets from 120 slots to 46.

Upper docking port hatch / airlock issue should be fixed now.

Shizno: ahh yes .. if you use the terminal and type lockdown dock it should send a constant force close signal to that upper docking hatch and allow the others to open... however I think I thought of a better way and will update it now.

Found an other issue lol, if the top hatch gets breached and no one is already up there to repair, at least for me. i found that i can open the hatch from engineering to that top deck, constantly closes. ive lost four crew to this just now lol

Draconis: Ahh yeah that looks pretty good. I might go back and replace with secure containers after I do a decent scavenge run and see how much space i use.

Shizno: I'm glad you found the workaround but sorry it was necessary. The docking port has been fixed but will require you to rebuy the SONA. I updated the waypoints and gave the bots an "escape" waypoint if they get caught on the ladder. Not sure it will fix it but should help.

Oh also my crew keeps killing themselves on that bottom airlock, if i happen to leave just as one slides down the ladder, he slides right out of the sub and gets crushed lol i watched one npc do it then the doc tried to save him and slid out too lol

Found a work around, it costs a 1000 mks every time lol but leave behind the mini drone and force undock on the station port with the drone port, it will ask if you are sure and then you will dock after a couple of tries. when you load in the game will use the main docking port on the next level.

I also do loot dumps typically right at the deconstructor for older ships or a transfer area on newer dubs to just dump minerals or salvage. I replaced the 4 tiny large steel cabinets with two 90 degree lockers and moved the little 1x3 compartments under the dive suits as individual mini lockers for scooters, sonar or whatever.

Shizno: Thank you for reporting this! At some point I must have swapped out the main docking port and did not check the box to set it as "main". It should work properly now but unfortunately will not update active saves.

Draconis: Thank you for trying it out and commenting! Those are transfer compartments for salvaging. So you can quickly dump into those containers while salvaging or mining. I like to keep stuff sorted in specific locations so having a "loot dump" before sorting helps. I may have gone a bit overboard though :)

Been excited for this since I saw you preview it on discord. The only gripe I have is the little compartments next to command are all large steel cabinets and have massive amounts of storage all in one small place. I will likely make my own edit where they are 3x3 or a single large box, took me by surprise because they rest of the boat is spot on like usual.

So im coming across the issue where i cant dock at stations, the game is making walls to close to the dock and the ship is a bit to long and im thinking its assuming the drone dock point is a valid dock...
