Could you make a mod like this for snow biomes? I personally really love settling up very high. I also love snow biomes. But currently the only way to make one all the way up where I make my home is via placing massive rectangles of ice blocks (totaling to 1500 ice blocks, around 375 per rectangle if you make 4 of 'em), actuating them, and coating them in echo-paint. It works ofc but it takes time to do and more importantly the blocks can still get in the way of things later, and also even then it feels like the biome-field created by them just ain't big enough. I wouldn't necessarily ask of you to code a biome beacon like this, just reduce the amount of blocks needed for a snow biome if you could please.

Would be great if there were more biomes than just ocean and space. Also I noticed that the fake biomes cut the music really weirdly. I'm using them for a certain build that has a mini jungle right above them, and wanted to make a structure right below NOT in the jungle biome. The fake space doesn't cut out the jungle music at all, and the fake ocean hard cuts it once you leave/enter it's range. Also the fake biomes don't produce their respective music at all, it's just silence. Would be amazing to see this mod more developed one day.

With the advent of Artificial Biomes like the snow biome needing 1500 blocks could you update this with a snow biome variant of this item. I just need to extend my current snow biome upward without ruining the looks of my home. Also does this item affect the whole world or just the area around it?

Hey, can you put a configuration that disallows artificial biomes from spawning altogether, it's super annoying to build with sandstone blocks and have shitwater in my build from underground desert

@garr890354839 the underworld has some special shaders and background lighting I don't know how to replicate, plus the backgrounds would loop vertically and look weird. Not worth doing imo, and I have a higher priority mod to work on unfortunately

@Panzer I released a patch, should work now.

Small thing, but this doesn't appear to override desert biomes, which means that expanding the ocean (as I am trying to do) is nullified by the desert. Any fix to this?

thanks for the suggestion, but it failed, so it is probably just my potato (pc) deciding to turn both my oceans toxic

@Guyfive whatever the issue is, I can't recreate it with calamity alone. You could have too many mods enabled, that's a good way to cause mod conflicts - I'd recommend the tried and true method of disabling mods one by one until you find which mod causes the conflict.
