I also tried multiple faction scenarios, the only time it did not work for me was when I transferred it to a hostile faction. then I could not buy at all (that is normal since the access was blocked)
You may have a corruption in your downloaded files. Try to delete your downloaded version and reload it and see if that works
the default path for the mods should be here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\(Your Steam ID number)\
and search for this folder:2836224674
the <ID> is a store entry ID and basically just a random number.
i don't think you can use this mod as you base mod then. i tried to make it buy stuff but it became bugged.
If you take the normal vending machine from the DLC it can do what you want i think
This mod is really just a vending machine that sell fixed items at a fixed price
you can add more stuff that it can sell at whatever price you want but it can be very much OP that way.
