Mod doesnt work with the current version of the game. Game hangs every time after i used the no ammo switch. even after deactivate it the game keeps crashing. bad mod.

The no ammo option doesn't work if you start the game with tutorial missions.

What is the tactical difficulty multiplier and mission threat level multiplier?
Can someone explain better?
Does lowering TDM means later pandoran evolutions? What is the rookie +3 = legends?
Does lowering MTLM means less number of enemies in battles?

I've found that Custom Campaign's settings get partially overridden with Terror From The Void, primarily Starting Soldiers and the Human Population Lost options in the Mod Options, hard-defaulting them.

Would it be possible for you to see if it's possible to make those options compatible with TFTV? I'm mostly only really able to play Phoenix Point thanks to the essential removal of the Game Over system via the Human Population Lost option, and I'd like to be able to play with TFTV as well since it does add quite a lot of new features.

It will have the same effect as putting maximum value which is 3 in this case.

To emphasise as well with the previous comment, how would I decrease the Tactical and Mission threat modifiers? I play on the lowest 'difficulty' (if you can even call it a difficulty change) though even then it's less enjoyable than it is annoying. Would I simply put a -1/-2/-3 etc in the boxes for them?

If you play on Rookie then you cannot lower the difficulty via Tactical difficulty modifier because Rookies is the lowest possible.

You can lower difficulty via Mission threat level modifier. If you put -3 then every mission using threat level modifiers will be Low threat. This means that Low threat level missions will still be low threat but it will change medium, high and extreme to low.

I am playing unmoded game on Veteran right now, but will try the new run with this mode as I newer encountered Ambush and want to boost haven defense missions chance.

@knight-16 Yes, there is. It is the Human Population lost option. If you set it to 0 then you will never lose population.

Is there an option with this mod that basically makes it so you don't lose the game? Last I recall the game's loss condition activates if you lose a certain amount of percentage in the Human census, does this mod have a function that basically makes it so that doesn't happen? If not, does anyone here know a mod that heavily negates if not more or less cuts out the loss/game over mechanic?

So fun little interaction I found. No Ammo + Boom Blast + Assault grenade launcher + ready for anything means you can reload and shoot grenades for no cost AP wise. Trying so hard not to take advantage of that... lol

Will the mod still be updated? If the No Ammo option is enabled, when loading in battle, the ammo runs out. I have to reload the mission from the geoscape.

I think a game changing (in a fun way) option is to remove the requirement for ammo. It makes finding a new weapon a significant event and differentiates the soldiers at an early stage.

I@ Ivory F - I had modnix mod loader installed and I had to select "revert" (or something similar) to get the mod tab to appear.

Hey, i can't get any mods to appear in the game. i've done the -mods in the launch options and also play with mods, but in the "mods" at the main menu, there is nothing.

You can force the game to start with mods like this: Right click Phoenix Point in your Steam library and go to Properties. Write -mods into Launch Options field

If this really slows down the evolution speed - you have my thanks! I really wanted to play this game at a more leisurely pace where I can do all the missions rather than beeline from one priority to another in order to keep up with pandoreans!

@cordinia On any difficulty below Legend, recruits from havens come with armor. They also come with weapons on Veteran. Phoenix recruits always come naked though, however.

I would love to have my new soldiers come with some sort of armor and a weapon. I don't even mind if it's kinda crappy but something would be nice. Also, not allowing the lazer beam from hell fights to happen until there is at least a chance for some kind of defence.

Armadillo says weapons not fully loaded and show the clip/x symbol is this a bug from selecting the "NO Ammo" setting ? Don't see this issue on a Scarab.

The blank ammo stacks thing is caused by you having any unequipped vehicle weapons in your stash. Every time you visit a screen that looks at your stash and then leave it, you gain an amount of blank ammo stacks equal to the amount of ammunition those vehicle weapons requires. You can avoid this by selling any unequipped vehicle weapons. Have not tested if leaving them in someone's personal inventory prevents this.

ok so i usubed and resubed and still getting blank ammo stacks is there a fix to this because it seems to still be active. unless i have to start a new campain although it says on other posts you shouldent have too.

One other thing we noticed is that it doesn't appear Steam Workshop always updates mod versions, even if subscribed... which can cause discrepancies like we're seeing i the comments.

We've included the current version (1.0.3) in the mod description above, but you may need to unsubscribe/resubscribe to get the latest version. This appears to be a Steam Workshop issue, but we're looking into it.

We have a hotfix coming for the game next week, which will address some bugs that popped up as well as the issue where mod settings are reset when loading saved games FYI.

For the HPC the game force an update after events, so... It's not the global "countdown".
For the % Chance of attack, same as above, I think there are some forced attacks.

For the ammo and all other settings, in fact :
the game reset values at some points and skip all mods configurations.

Nicely done from devs... As usual with this game...

Reporting in. As of this moment, the mod does not seem to work. I started a new campaign first day with x100 Pandoran attack rate (along with infinite resources, no ammo, and instant build times to offset this difficulty curve). In the early game while I was still in the same session, I was seeing early havens being attacked 3-4 at a time constantly. Now I can idle for an entire in game day and not see a single attack even with 3 Pandoran structures revealed and visible. I also still have massive stacks of "Ammo" numbering in the 2000's that are making it impossible to play the game. I already lost the Danchev AR because my 1000 starting storage slots were inexplicably full. Everything seems to break after you reload the game. Am I doing something wrong?

Just ran a quick test to verify if the update worked.
Once again ran a no-input test for a month ingame - HPC at 100%
Engaged Pandorans by defending a Haven - HPC dropped.
The issue does not seem to be fixed

FYI: We released an update for the mod that should correct the population counter and 'no ammo' -related issues. You should not need to restart a campaign, the changes will be made automatically.

There is a way to prevent factions from fighting each other. I shot down all their planes and they stopped attacking each other even though they had declared war.
