From the description:

"If you install the mod and you find that music refuses to play whilst in combat, try deleting your 'Config' file under this pathway: C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame. Next, run XCOM 2 a couple of times to regenerate the 'Config' folder, and the music should play just fine."

Okay, for one, in the description it states that MMS does not support after action music. Almost 9 times out of 10 you will hear the base game OST after a mission instead of the modded music pack, no matter which one you're using. Second, if you're not hearing any tracks from the music pack on the Avenger, it means you need to delete the 'Config' file in your XCOM 2 'Documents' folder. This is also listed in the decription above. Read it and follow the directions laid out for you, then check to see if the music plays correctly.

This music mod does not fully work. I just got back from Gatecrasher, and the "victory music" was from vanilla.

In addition, there is not a single ost of music, playing in the Avenger. Is this supposed to happen?

Not at all. So long as you credit me that would be perfectly fine.
When I first made the music pack I envisioned it working in the same way as the base-game XCOM 2 OST did, so having a version of the DUSK soundtrack that actually operated that way would be pretty sick. If you need the audio files I used for the mod I could provide them for you.

Would you mind if i try doing and publishing this myself then? I would include songs you modified by yourself (such as The Beginning)

I've considered it, but ultimately it's a lot more work than a normal music pack and requires extra steps on the part of the subscriber, which few people have the patience for. A WWise MMS music mod, while pretty cool, would be a pain to put together and wouldn't do well on the workshop in my opinion.

Have you looked at WWise MMS? There's currently only one music pack that uses it, but it is miles better. For sure less janky too.

It really does. DUSK is a fantastic horror retro-FPS with one of the best OSTs I've ever heard. Definitely worth checking out! And yeah, it's a real shame how rickety MMS can be sometimes. It's unfortunate, but it's all modders have to work with when making custom music packs.

This goes fucking HARD, never played Dusk but this OST is miles better than the game's original. Just wish music modding system wasn't that laggy/buggy

If it's only working for the main menu then in my experience it has to be an issue with the config folder. Honestly the method I detailed in the description is very easy and has fixed the issue for me every time. Literally all you have to do is delete the config folder located in the path I described inside your file explorer and relaunch the game a couple of times, otherwise something will continue to override the music mod and it will remain broken for you.

how do I enable this song? I know there's instructions on how to do it up there but I'm doing that as a last resort as I know basically nothing about game files. The sound track works perfectly for the menu but not for the avenger(havent tested our for battle music). any tips?

Yeah, those are common occurrences with custom music packs made using MMS. Music will stutter and pause in some areas when the game lags, like when equipping a weapon on a soldier for example. It sucks, but those issues are ultimately out of my control.

If you're referring to the loading screens just before/after missions then unfortunately there's nothing I can really do to fix that. As far as I know it's just how MMS operates.

Can't lie or deny. But it really fits how hectic the gameplay is. Lots of enemies, the heavy tension being balanced out along the way. And just in general, the music is cool.

@Leon Thank you so much man, so glad people are enjoying it! Yeah, the DUSK soundtrack was practically made for this game lol. I put a lot of work into making sure the tracks loop correctly and fit the situations to which they were assigned, so I appreciate the fact that others are having fun with it :)

Dude this is freaking awesome. I've been jamming on this with full delight, even listening to a lot of the main menu songs you've picked and setup. It's really awesome. Kudos. 10/10. Best soundtrack so far for XCOM.
