the reason some games depend on other games, is because they use textures or models from that game.
there's MORE THAN ENOUGH free downloads for CS:S content, just go to youtube, and HL2:E1 and HL2:E2 aren't that much still, so you can just buy those

not trying to give negative reviews to this map, infact i don't even have CS : Source and just by looking at the base of the map it already looks pretty cool, but what's up with gmod maps needing other games??? i never knew about this type of thing until i tried looking for a level ! map, in which another map that isn't this one also needed ''both of the half life 2 episodes'' or whatever it said
idk man i just think it's pretty lame that i have to pay 23 bucks (that's how much CS:S costs in brazil) to use a cool lookin map on a silly little game..............................................................

If you want entities just INSTALL BACKROOMS DRGBASE NEXTBOTS LIKE THE SMILER ONE AND SPAWN IT. Anyways, now I can make poses and chases in this map and recreate apeirophobia's version of level !.
