I tested it and the player need to be 60 tiles or less from a pylon to travel to another pylon. Placing a pylon mirror about 55 tiles within a pylon should work.

Reminds me of the old 'mountable magic mirrors' mod. I do kinda wish that mod would make a return. With pylons being a thing those kinda replace it, but I liked exploring the world and sometimes coming across a fast travel point.

This mod looks great and is good for people who want more furniture options. And the mirrors are very functional. Though I do wish the teleportation mirrors will eventually improve as only having access to two per-world does hold it back. I understand the balance of the game, but an upgrade or rework of that mirror would be appreciated for an endgame playthrough and an alternative to pylons if there is a way to figure it out.

Both 1.1 and 1.2 versions have been released, where 1.1 is for TModLoader 1.4.3 and 1.2 for TModLoader 1.4.4 Preview, so the Mod should work for both TModLoader versions.

The Mod should be stable, but if you encounter any bugs, then please leave a comment.

I probably won't add any new content any time soon, but the Mod will still be updated to remove bugs and be kept up to date with TModLoader's 1.4.4 Preview changes.

The small conches can be crafted back so no need to worry about that
The recipe can also be disabled in the mod configs

Could you please make the small conches only craftable at a workbench or with one stone added to the recipe? I'm afraid I might accidentally craft them at some point and I'd have to go fishing for another magic conch

A while back I was thinking of adding a wormhole mirror, but it seemed too complicated to add at that time.
There's a mod for 1.4 called Portable Wormhole that does what a wormhole potion does and more - so go try that mod.

best mod ive seen in a looonnng time ! very polished , creative , and the possibility to have the magic-less mirrors is very neat ! Well done !
PS : terra and zenith mirrors look fire , and the mirror of return is my favorite
PPS : any idea for a wormhole mirror for multiplayer ? you click on the mirror and get redirected to the map to select a player ... idk enough of mod creating stuff to know if its possible to do afterall....

The magic conch & hell conch aren't mirrors, so the placed version shouldn't be either, it should be a shell on the floor that takes up a 1 x 2 area.

I remember a mod back in 1.3 of TML that allows for the creation of mirrors, though it wasn't the two default mirrors, it was different types of mirrors ranging from normal wood to hellstone.
I'm hoping you will add is new mirrors that match furniture sets down the line.
