Heavily reminds me of the zombie bots from metal arms. The sounds, mechanics, design and even their kind of standing up by reconstructing... I love it.

That being said, the metal arms factions and characters would fit greatly to this game.
Just imagine waging a defensive war with the druids against the mil bot army. :O

This would be amazing. Any modders out here?

It seems to be possible. If you've ever heard of The Order, that faction, with the knights and everything, they close in with their melee weapons and use them, the AI. So I'm thinking that it would be possible to have the AI ZombieBots to do the same.

Note: It's not a problem of the claws not working, they work fine. AI controlled Grunts/Drones don't use their claws against enemies at all.

Well, if they're either dropped in without any weapons, or disarmed, they just stand around as long as they see an enemy. They don't close the distance and they don't take a swing if you're in range.

They cant be holding anything to attack using melee, attack the same way you would with any other weapon. If this doesn't work tell me more about the problem.

This mod is great. The only problem I see is that the Grunt and Drone AIs don't seem to know how to attack with their claws.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/tdoacxn36n9w16m/Loadouts.ini Here its a fixed loadout file so that it doesn't crash if you pick them as a faction the reason is due to the rivet turret being a acrab while the loadout file was calling a ahuman. :)

this mod is freakin crazy because they come back together after you kill it. It's a big pain in the butt when fighting then.

My second favourite faction. It crashes. :(. My first favourite faction is the Aco Delta Covenant which has crashes just by using the units, this crashes when you set your team to zombbots, crashes 90% of the time when you set the enemies team to zombbots.

Would anyone like me to build a Brain Dead mode that will add a better zombie survival meaning and that could include ZombBots? It would take a while but I'll do it.

It would, but for now just use grunts to rip through the walls. Best way to do this is ordering a group of three grunts to dig to the same spot after you dug them a little trench so they don't lose their grip.

Shad66, I have the same problem. I selected them as my main faction and it crashed immediately. I bought one "More specifically, a grunt" and it was fine.
