Ah, understood. I think there's something wrong with my modlist because the eye color of every pawn I've encountered so far are fully black. I only have Anime Gene installed as the mod that messes with eyes too

@The Architect The eye colors are supplemental and not related to genes. I just used a secondary color channel using HAR, which Character Editor nor xenotypes touch. The gray and red eyes are genes that Anime Genes can control, but the eye colors from this mod are otherwise randomized.

Oh. So we need xenotypes to change eye colors?

@The Architect They do if you have HAR installed, but 1) the iris for Anime Genes is really dark, so it might be hard to see some colors, and 2) because of the way it's implemented, you can't change the eye colors using Character Editor

Do Anime Genes by dorutoruka does not support eye colors? I have it installed but there's no option to change eye colors in the Character Editor.

@Vattende @Fae @Momon @Gerro Thanks to the release of Gene Tools , you now don't need HAR for the masks to appear! Just download that lightweight framework and the headmasks should show up.

That's so lovely, but of course a no HAR version would be super sweet. While i run VE Core for different mods anyway, HAR is still a beast.

So reading the comments apparently for the custom masks to work we need HAR? Darn. I guess I'll have to wait till the bugs with it and Biotech get fixed then cause man this mad really did breath some extra life into all the face mods. Gosh you don't realize how much you missed the whites of the eyes until they are gone. lol

I'm having a lot of conflicts with HAR so that would be amazing.

@nguyenanh2132 They are automatically applied once it is in your mod list, but for now, it requires Humanoid Alien Races in order to work. I'm hoping to make it independent of it soon, but that's the requirement for now.

@Gerro After looking into it, I can't seem to get the custom masks working without HAR. I'm not sure why that is the case, but that's the only way I can get them to work after the 1.4 update.

doesn't seem to work for me unfortunately . I am using all of Malang's faces and this mod is loaded after. I only have VTE and upscaled core and mods as my other texture mods :(

Some faces are very reminiscent of Aang from "Avatar: The Last Airbender".

@Darth Kyliness The Malang Faces only have pupils and don't have any irises to color, so they don't have eye colors.

Do the eye colors apply for Malang Face?
